Welcome to Mrs. Humphrey's 5th Grade Classroom,

where learning begins with you!

The following is the 2020/2021 Supply list. The list includes items the entire 5th grade.

Here are the supplies you will need for next year.

Your help is greatly appreciated! Due to the circumstances, no materials will be able to be shared. We have looked at our list and only essential items are listed.  We tried to make it as cost effective as possible.  If you need assistance please contact Mrs. Humphrey at shumphrey@sad55.org.

  • 1 Small pencil case to hold all small supplies.

  • At least 24 pencils and erasers.  The pink erasers work better than the fashion ones.

  • 1 box of colored pencils

  • 1 highlighter- yellow or orange

  • 1 individual pencil sharpener

  • 1 pair of Headphones clearly labeled with student’s name

  • Glue sticks

  • Ruler- not metal

  • Scissors

  • Everything needs to be able to fit in the pencil case (all but the ruler)

Please do not bring rolling backpacks or any toys or valuable items to school.  Please label all supplies, jackets, caps, bags, etc. with your student’s name.

If your child is bringing in hand sanitizer, please do not send in a scented brand due to scent allergies.

Thank you for your help in making this year a success!

Meet Mrs Humphrey

I live in Cornish, ME with my husband and and youngest daughter. My oldest graduated from college last spring and now is living in Massachusetts working in her field of study, Interior Architecture.  Even though her graduation wasn't what we expected, she was able to celebrate her accomplishment with her family.

I have been really busy this summer working on my husband and mine newest adventure, we bought a race track in New Hampshire.  It has been a true adventure that I have been lucky to be working alongside my family and friends .  It didn't start out the way we planned, but we went with the flow and things have worked out.   Like a lot of you, I have tried really hard to keep a positive attitude and it has helped a lot.

I am very excited about this year. We will be learning lots of exciting things in math, science, social studies, coding, and much more.  We are all facing this new year together, some in class, some at home, but remember we are one class and we are working through this all together. Even with the bumps in the road we will get through it!

August 2020 Notice

The school voted to approve a change for the school year 20/21. School will start September 8, 2020 for all students.
